An interesting visit. My wife, grandson, niece and I went Saturday afternoon around 6. Evidently the place use to be a bar which is OK, the lights aren't that bright but the seating is OK.
The buffett had Steamed Oysters, Blue Crab, Snow Crab, Steamed Mussels, Crayfish, and Boiled Shrimp. They also had Fried Oysters, and some other fired stuff that I didn't really pay much attention too. I had the Oysters, Crayfish, Mussels, and Snow Crab. Two things up front. Bring your own Oyster knife because all they will have for you is a butter knife to open oysters. Seconday bring a set of crackers for the Snow Crab because they didn't seem to have any. They also use plastic spoons, forks and plates but that isn't a big deal. The lack of having an Oyster knife and cracker is a different story. For $39.95 (buffet price) I would expect to have use of those two items.
The Snow Crab and Crawfish were good. I think the oysters were steamed a little longer that I would have liked but they weren't bad by any means.
My wife had Fried Shrimp. She asked for a side of coleslaw but they were out so she got their seafood salad. The seafood salad wasn't anything to brag about.
I'll probably go back but I'll also be better prepared tool wise for my visit. -

I have a friend that lives in Brunswick who raves about this place. So today I drove up from Jacksonville for dinner 10/28/2017. Soooooo not impressed. It really is a whole in the wall shack. We sat ourselves ( party of 5) in the back round table w/trash can in middle. My daughter ordered the krabbie patty ( 2 hamburger sliders) that was dry. And the food on the buffet looked like it was sitting for a while. Fried calamari and mussels were rubbery. When I bit into a fried shrimp I also bit into a shell. Service was bad, floors sticky. Food not worth it. I won't be returning and I won't be recommending this place.

In all honesty I would give this place a 0 out of 5 stars, but the minimum allowed is one. The Krusty krab is an acceptable name for this place due to the disgusting conditions, nasty food and overpriced menu. Other than the crab legs, the food was disgusting. The overhead vents were leaking, even the vent directly over the food. The door to the restaurant was kept open allowing flies to come in where there was uncovered food on the buffet, insects also swarm your plate. BARF. There were no descriptions of what food was on the buffet and the only way to know the price was to look on their Facebook, which I found odd, but quickly realized that this lack of advertising was a ploy to overcharge unknowing customers. Initially the cashier attempted to charge $40 per person who had the buffet, but changed it when we asked why there was an upcharge. Don't waste your time!
